Hi guys! Getting ready to paint a beach house we just bought, and while I used Aura throughout our 3500 sf condo and loved it, I'd like to use something less expensive for our beach house. We're hopefully tearing it down in 7-10 years so I'd rather not spend $70+ per gallon on paint. Just want to freshen up the walls. I have a 3-month-old baby so it's important that the paint be zero VOC.
I know Brian no longer recommends Behr (to put it lightly!), so what would you use if you were me? Any recommendations are appreciated! Thanks so much!

Is that what you’ve been using recently instead?

We still primarily use Behr Ultra on exteriors. Just so you know, in case you missed it, the Behr issue was a specific issue with applying by sprayer Behr Premium Plus over pre-primed MDF where it was failing to adhere. So we had to stop using it.

Hi Brian! Happy Thanksgiving! Sorry if I was unclear, I'm painting the interior of the house. I used Aura for walls and Muralo for trim in our recent condo renovation, but wanted something less expensive for walls and trim in our new house. Are you still using (and recommending) the Behr interior paint? For trim also as long as I'm brushing? Muralo seems to have recently been sold to California - not sure I can get it anymore.
Thanks again for your time!
