It was really funny to me when the lady was telling me the colors, I tried not to laugh when she said in the buff.
I did laugh and then we joked about it.

I have a building supply local (sorta) that's stocks Pittsburgh. Never tried manor hall wall paint. I think I used some oil in a mansion one time but that's it.

The one thing I did notice between recent Behr Premium plus satin vs Manor Hall Satin is the PPG drips are more crisp if you scrape, pick or sand them. When you address the ppg drip it does not start peeling up the surrounding paint. I will show pics of both later.
Not sure if we all get drips occasionally but I'm not ashamed that out of a huge house I will have a couple to deal with. Important thing is I do address them.
Also, removed all the tape yesterday and did not have any issues with the tape taking up any paint. 2020 tape, 2 1/4 baseboard pre primed and tape was on 3 days in most areas.
Its interesting, if you haven't tried Manor since 2013-2014 it was reformulated (actually announced) so it could be quite different then when you last used it.
Jimmers did you use any Pastel Base?

Ive tried the new flat enamel, it seems to be similar sheen to Behr Ultra matte. The old manor hall was flat and had no sheen, this caused a fit with contractors who were in mid job and couldn't get the old to finish the job, or going back to touch up a few months later. That alone can cause painters to change brands.

I have not. Been working at the hospital and they supply the paint(sherscrub). On my next res redo, I'll definitely be using it. Haven't heard anything really negative about the product thus far. PPG is right next door, the people who work there are really cool and if this paint works out...It'll be a win win win situation!

I've always thought Behr was unfriendly to paint with. I used a lot of it, and it sags way worse than the PPG paints I've used. It was always soft too. I experience the same thing as You did Santiago with the drips. I often would have tape mishaps with the Behr too. Keep coming with your reports. They are very helpful.

Only problem with using PPG Paints is the choice. They have so many type now. Its like going to a restaurant where the Menu is too big and its impossible to make a selection.
I don't know if I just did know about all the other ones before, or if the local stores here only carry a few, but if you go to the web site, its a huge selection. kind of mind boggling actually. Part of it has to be the constant accumulation of other brands and such. The potential bad thing about that is they can become the jack of all Paint and master of none!

Yeah Mike don't go buy the website or know that they list all their products, even the stuff they sell at box stores. Kind of confusing I think but atleast they arnt hiding what they make. That's why I didn't know regency was a box store paint. If you remember that post.
